A classic and romantic shot, a play of light, an unforgettable kiss: in choosing the photograph from which to draw this painting (taken by the photographer Claudia Verloop) I wanted to enhance the simple yet immortal beauty of an intimate moment between the two spouses, cultured almost secretly.
