A wedding that united the United States and Calabria, in an intense, vibrant, and joyful celebration in the heart of Tuscany. Juliana and Antonio chose to say “I do” in a breathtakingly beautiful setting, the Church of Ognissanti in Florence, immersed in the marvelous architecture of the building where Botticelli rests. For me, painting them in such a setting was an incredible challenge and an indescribable emotion. I sought to capture on canvas their gaze of love as they began a new life together, while also capturing the glorious and intense atmosphere of the church in a painting that will last forever.
