Imagine an Indian wedding with nearly three hundred guests. Imagine the colors, the radiance, and the beauty of both the ceremony and the celebration. Now, imagine all of this taking place in Tuscany—in the heart of the Garfagnana region—honoring a young, beautiful, and joyful couple deeply in love.

That is precisely what Darshee and Rishabh’s wedding was like, held at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort in Barga (Lucca). For this high-energy event, I was invited by the bride’s sister, Dibya, to create portraits of the couple during the Hindu ceremony and sketches of the guests during the cocktail hour.
