Debbie asked me to be a part of her wedding as a surprise for her wife Jessica. Originally from Florida, Debbie and Jessica chose to get married on the splendid Amalfi Coast, in the elegant Borgo Sant’Andrea, among suggestive flowers and the scent of the sea and lemons: I chose to represent the two brides in the moment in which they walk, hand in the hand, towards their new life together, Debbie’s gaze full of love turned towards Jessica. At their feet, I also placed Mr DJ, the couple’s little dog. Soft colours, pearly shades, an explosion of light flowers and the sparkle of the Amalfi sea allowed me to create a suspended and romantic scene, enhanced by the use of oil colour.
