I was commissioned to create this painting for Jesse and Andrew by the groom’s family, who wanted to give them a unique gift—an indelible keepsake. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Villa Sola Cabiati on Lake Como and its enchanting gardens, Jesse and Andrew held a romantic and elegant ceremony, followed by a reception at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

For this sophisticated, mature couple, I proposed a composition that would highlight not only their evident love for one another but also the elegance of the villa and the evocative magic of the lake behind them—resulting in a timeless, ethereal painting, radiant with light.
